My daughter Rebecca had them constantly over a period of at least ten years. The only thing that helped was retreating to a warm bath. She would actually fall asleep in the water so I had to watch her carefully! Hope you are rid of them soon. So sorry.
Yes, the bath probably helps the "body" migraine symptoms, as I call them–achy muscles and feeling like there are hot needles prickling everywhere. I'm so sorry for your daughter. I've never had them chronically, especially not for ten years.
I hope you feel better–I get the occasional migraine and the only thing I can do is go to bed and hide from light. Be well!
