Here are some cool things people are saying about my book. This first person was a beta-reader, but what she says is true. She did read it multiple times, then buy a copy:
I absolutely loved this book the first time I read it. I loved it even more the second time I read it. When it was finally released for Kindle I actually PAID for my copy–a book I’d already read twice.
That should tell you just how wonderful a story this truly is.–Katherine Coble
I fell completely in love with the characters from the beginning. The voice is quirky and realistic. It’s more literary than fantasy, but it’s still fantasy true-and-true. The pacing was just right. You have time to get to know the characters, but nothing is fluff. It’s all integral to the story and flows perfectly.–Kathryn Heckenbach
I read a lot of good literature. I find good-enough-for-genre reading almost painful to read….This book is good literature as well as fantasy. It was a delight to read….There was a section of the book that frightened me almost as much as it did Anna. Yes, it is that easy to get caught up in the lives of these characters.–Leila M. Foreman*
I am normally not a big fantasy fan but Jill Domschot has crafted a plot so original and engaging that Hollywood screen writers might take note. This author is also a wordsmith. She can put more pizzazz into one sentence than many authors can manage in an entire book. The plot is complicated, blending together ancient legends of dragons from Wales–one of which is actually on a mission to destroy the very fabric of Anna’s happy life with her Welsh husband, with complex, likeable characters. This edgy book will keep you riveted and a bit unsettled until its last page.–Dancing Deirdre
One reviewer also claims I’m one of the greatest authors of our time, but I have a feeling this is an exaggeration. Another calls it a light, fun read with a deeper meaning (lest you’re afraid of the literary designation). Yes, most of these I copied from Amazon. One is from a book review blog. With the exception of one (the Vine reviewer), these are people who bought my book without my prompting.
*I accidentally pasted a part from the previous review on this one. I apologize; it’s now corrected. This person honestly didn’t copy another reviewer. Head smack.
